Comprehensive Broker Research

Estimates
Reuters Estimates is a global provider of quality real-time forecast information, serving the research and analytic needs of thousands of companies in financial services, media and corporate markets. Superior timeliness and accuracy of the data is ensured by Reuters state-of-the-art data collection system that uses a combination of automated data feeds from brokers and manual data collection, supplemented by numerous automated quality assurance checks.
Reuters collects forecast data from over 600 broker locations around the world. Consensus and detailed estimates and company-reported actuals are provided for over 15,000 active companies and 10,000 inactive companies in more than 70 countries. Comprehensive annual and interim data is available for over 20 financial measures including Revenue, Profit, EBITDA, Cash Flow and three flavors of EPS. Clients can access confirmation and initiation/revision dates for all forecast items. Data for historical periods is also available.
Fundamentals
The Reuters Fundamentals database currently contains global data on over 43,000 companies. Data is collected from company press releases, public filings and other public sources.
Collected data includes all items from the primary financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Statement of Cash Flow), footnote items, business and geographic segment data and more. The database contains 20+ years of data for US companies and 5-10 years of history for non-US companies. A large number of pre-computed ratios are also available.
